1d black "IA" Plate 2.(not plate 1a as anotation on back of stamps suggests) Cancelled by neat virtually complete red Maltese cross. 4 good margins. As illustrated. Nissen Plating "I" central, "A" slightly low to right. There is a feint dot in the lower left corner of "A" square and a clear vertical guideline in NE square close to right frame line. It is this vertical guideline in the NE square as documented by Nissen, along with the fact that there is no "ray flaw" that suggests this stamp is from Plate 2. The stamps lettered "CI" to "JL" from Plate 2 did not demonstrate the "ray flaw".
